Atty. Aileen is the founder and the managing partner of Ligot Dizon Law Firm, P.C. in Houston, Texas. She is an attorney admitted to practice law in all state courts of Texas. She is also a licensed attorney in the Philippines, and a lifetime member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines. She represents clients in estate planning, divorce, and immigration law cases.
Atty. Aileen is the Chairperson of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas - Houston. She is the current Legal Counsel of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America and Women of Courage International. She is also active in various community groups in her home state of Texas, such as the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Texas – Houston, and the Philippine Kalayaan Houston, an association of community leaders organized in partnership with the Philippine Consulate General in Houston. Outside of her legal groups, she also has experience providing on-air legal aid to listeners as one of PHLV's Kumares…Walang Iwanan’s current co-hosts.
Atty. Aileen is married to Atty. Orlando R. Dizon, who is also her partner in Ligot Dizon Law Firm. They have 2 beautiful children, Gabriel and Andrea.

Aileen Ligot Dizon is the founder and the managing partner of Ligot Dizon Law Firm. She is admitted to practice before the: (1) State Courts of Texas; (2) United States Tax Court; (3) Executive Office for Immigration Review; (4) United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; (5) United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas; (6) U. S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas; and (7) the Philippines. Aileen handles immigration, estate planning, divorce, and related family law matters.
Aileen is the Chair of the Philippine American Chamber of Commerce of Texas - Houston Region. She is the current Legal Counsel of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in America and Women of Courage International. She is the Vice-President of the University of the Philippines Alumni Association in Texas, & the Vice-Chair of the Philippine Kalayaan Houston.

The purpose of the show is to create a friendly but meaningful discussion involving legal issues that may be helpful to the audience and listeners.

Education
Aileen obtained her Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, Master of Education (M.Ed.) at the University of Houston-Victoria, and completed her Teacher Alternative Certification Program (ACP) at the University of Houston-Downtown. Also, Aileen completed her law degree and bachelor degree at the University of the Cordilleras School of Law and the University of the Philippines Baguio respectively.
